In 1996
we got our first Cocker Spaniel.
Reggie is a precious little black & white
parti with a gorgeous coat and a wonderful
vivacious temperament. He chases birds
and is very intelligent. Our love affair with
Reggie led us to acquire other pups
and began an extremely fun experience
for our family: Bob, Betty, & Randy Smith.
The cocker business
is
virtually Randy's--with a little help
in the breeding and whelping
from Mom & Dad.
As a sort of anniversary present several years ago, Bob gave Betty her first
tiny toy Poodle Cee-Cee. This was only the beginning with our love affair
with poodles.
Our experience with raising
quality, champion bloodline puppies has been
one of the most rewarding in our lives.
It gives us such great pleasure to be able to
place our pups in homes where they will be
loved and nurtured.
They will in turn love you with an unconditional love. We try to begin
this process with an early
nurturing experience. A couple of weeks before our moms whelp they
are brought in to
reestablish an “inside” relationship with the family. They remain in
until the pups are weaned at
which time we try to have them spend some time with the sire so that
he can teach
them such things as discipline and courage.
We also constantly socialize them-our family,
including the 8 grandchildren, and friends are
invited to hold the puppies, play with them,
and get them ready for their new homes.
So these puppies from Huckleberry Hollow
come to you already socialized, or
“pre-spoiled,” if you will.
Take a look at some of our babies. We
are only a short drive from both
Dallas and Fort Worth.
So Come by and visit,
or call and let’s just talk.
